Hello there! We are the students of the CA1 class, school year 2020-2023 of the Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted
Who are we exactly?
A school of naughty fish of different sizes, colors, aerodynamics designs and swimming patterns, currently situated in Le Hong Phong Aquarium for the Gifted. We used to be a family of 31 fish, but due to some unfortunate events, we are now down to 29 (we still appreciate and miss the other two a whole lot).
About our logo
Logo: Our logo was first squiggly sketched by Phúc Khang on our group chat from the original name “OxFish”. It features a wide-eyed fish (our constant state of mood) tucking its head into an Oxford dictionary. Since then, it has grown and become our exquisite trademark by the hands of the talented Anh Thư. Basically, it represents us in the embodiment of a confused fishie trying its best to study for the “traumatizing” English specialized tests (and other tests too of course).
The origin of "OxFish"
OxFish first made its debut on October 1st, 2020 at 20:06 as a pun by Khương (?). After some deliberate consideration, OxFish officially became the name of our class's page at 6:23, November 18th, 2020. OxFish is a portmanteau of the two words "Oxford" and "fish". "Oxford" resembles the Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary (a common dictionary used among us CA's possession) while "fish" means "cá", which in turn appears as "ca1" when you purchase bootleg Unikey programs.
